Our property is a unique peninsula oasis surrounded by three holes on a well-established city golf course. There is a canopy of trees between the course and our home so we are wrapped by vegetation, which is an ideal barrier between the activity of the golf course and our living space. Our backyard was the deal sealer when we bought this home nine years ago! Last year, after many years of planning and saving, we took an okay brick patio and built the outdoor space of our dreams. Our construction took over a year so we are just now getting the opportunity to fully enjoy it. It has quickly become our favorite kitchen, family room, and my husband even joked about moving our bed out back so we could live out there full time. (I’m guessing he won't be saying that when the weather hits 96 degrees and the mosquitos are in full beast mode!) We are thrilled to be able to host many gatherings of family and friends when the coast is clear and COVID is in all of our rear view mirrors.

I am a native Floridian who has always loved the outdoors. After a full-time career in the financial industry, I opted to switch gears and manage our household for a number of years. During that time, I started a home business with my sister using our creative gifts to personalize all sorts of items for sale. As with most good things, that eventually came to an end (our 10-year run flew by!), and we both moved on to other passionate interests. I returned to my roots and became a financial coach, assisting folks in establishing positive money management habits for their long-term benefit. This is truly a rewarding role for me. I have been a certified Master Gardener in the state of Florida since 2016 and love working in the yard. My husband and I are avid travelers, hikers, & wine tasters. He is a fabulous cook and we love to entertain family and friends as often as possible.
