A Zen-Like Poolside Retreat for a Busy Family

With three littles in our household, creating a relaxing, zen-like atmosphere was our goal. The culmination of several design iterations definitely achieved this! We created several intentional spaces with their own functions — for relaxing, enjoying a meal, informal gathering, cocktail parties, or just play. We’ve got a space for it all. We made a little destination out of our fire rock area, at the far side of the pool patio, where our Aluminum 8-Seat Sectional lives. It helps us get more use out of the backyard beyond the warm seasons. You’ll often find us out there curling up with a blanket with a nice glass of wine.
