A Historic Home’s Charming Patio

I’m an investigator and my wife is a pediatric occupational therapist. We live in the oldest house in our borough that is still used as a residence, built somewhere between 1830–1850. During our redesign of the patio space last year, we discovered a hand-dug well from the 1800s and incorporated it into the design! We also included an outdoor kitchen, grill, rock garden bed, large swim-spa, our Wicker 5-Piece Corner Sectional, and a fire table. The patio really comes to life at night: soft lights twinkle in the trees and line the landscaping wall, illuminating the old well. It’s ideal for unwinding past sunset.
