I am a teacher and fundraiser who enjoys good food and drink, rugby, running, skiing, and dancing (but not at the same time). My wife, Becky, and I love riding to the beach with a good read and playlist. We consider our friends to be family. We have a small city-style brick patio attached to our single-family home. It kept us social throughout a New England winter with a few heaters, which we nicknamed the sauna (even when it was 10 degrees out). We call our time on the patio “couch time,” because all of a sudden three hours pass but it feels like no more than a minute. It's an urban oasis.
