I’ve always had a love of the outdoors and talent for fixing things up and making them beautiful. I decided to combine the two and start my own business designing outdoor rooms. I specialize in outdoor space planning and furnishing selections. I love watching the transformation process of making a space that was hardly used turn into a beautiful functional part of the home. When we first moved to California from the Midwest, I knew one of the first things I wanted to do was to create an outdoor living space in our backyard. When we moved into our home a few years ago, we had a big, blank slate to work with and have been updating it ever since. It’s all about creating a multi-functional and comfortable area that can take us from morning coffee and afternoon naps, to evening dining and entertaining. We brought all the look and feel of the inside, outside; layered lighting, wall art, and textures help give the space a “room” feel. Pool install coming this fall!
