Poolside Deck in Savage, MN

I moved to MN from Buffalo, NY, in 1989 to attend college studying food science & product development. I had a short career in the food industry and a long career in raising my three kids. I enjoy learning and doing many things: gardening, running vacation rentals, making artisan jewelry, knitting, riding motorcycles, and exploring and making cocktails. I live in a suburban development just south of Minneapolis. When we are outside, we spend most of our time in the backyard with a spacious deck, pool, pool deck (cement), grass, and flowerbeds. I consider my yard to be an extension of my living space. When the weather permits, I am outside, starting my day with a quiet breakfast and coffee alone (well, typically, there are a few pets there with me). We have a pool with garden beds and landscaping, which provides an excellent backdrop for my day. In the evening, weather permitting, we eat as a family outside on the deck. This fall, I purchased the Outer sofa as well as a propane fire pit. These pieces allowed me to create a living/lounging room outside. As a result, we spent evenings outside by the firepit well past dark.
