I'm a pharmacist for a living, but I love design and organization. Most of my hobbies revolve around my kid’s activities, though I do love reading, crafts and decorating cakes (not baking). If I had to choose a second career, it would be as a meteorologist— I want to work for the Weather Channel and broadcast from the center of big weather events! We recently added a covered deck to our backyard and pergola. The pergola is on top of a pre-existing stamped concrete area with a sitting wall and fire pit. We live in a development so our deck has become our backyard oasis. It’s where our family goes to relax, recharge or entertain. We recently bought an outdoor movie screen to be able to spend more time outside. The furniture is so comfortable and we have already put it through the stain test (thank you, red popsicle) — it passed!
