A Modern Farmhouse Turned Staycation Destination

I'm a manager at Apple, working in Information Systems & Technology. My husband and I met 14 years ago playing volleyball. We love traveling, golfing, playing volleyball, and mountain biking. We have two young children, a three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter. We love spending time with them outdoors. We bought our house almost 2 years ago and planned on updating the backyard eventually, but this past year accelerated those plans and turned it into a full overhaul of our outdoor space. We love our new concrete patio with pergola, open grassy area, and giant redwood playground. Our backyard is our new staycation spot. I love sitting on our Outer Sofa in the shade with a beverage while watching the kids play during the day, or making s'mores at night on our fire pit. Our backyard was completed just in time for my daughter's first birthday last month, and watching my extended family and their kids play & enjoy the space made my heart so happy. It completely reinforced our decision to make the investment in outdoor living sooner rather than later.
