Eclectic Outdoor Living Room in North Carolina

I am the Director of Business Development for a company that specializes in branded merchandise and a mother of two teenage boys. In my spare time, I love to exercise and be outdoors. My mom was an interior designer and I have inherited her love for decorating, which has become my favorite hobby. We recently added a screened porch to our home of 19 years, and it has turned out to be our favorite room in the house. The Outer sofa makes it feel like a living room, along with the beautiful wood tongue and groove ceiling and board and batten wall. We work outside, host family dinners, complete homework and take naps (this is Sadie, of course). The best part of this space is that it has allowed us to have our parents over for dinner during the pandemic and stay distanced. We are looking forward to hosting our friends post pandemic.
