Cozy Hermosa Beach Cottage

We are a family of four with two teenage sons. We also have two rescue dogs: a French mastiff named Chewy and Maggie Sue, a pocket beagle. We enjoy our community and have been involved with everything from the schools to Little League over the years. We love the outdoors, hosting parties, being with friends and family. Personally, I love Hermosa Beach and the city of Los Angeles. I love the outdoors — from hiking the San Gabriel mountains to enjoying the beach just steps from my front door. Our home is a classic 1930s beach cottage, which is hard to find these days. We prefer the smaller house footprint with generous outdoor space. Our outdoor area, a front patio overlooking the beach walking path, is an extension of our home. We have an outdoor kitchen and lounge we use year-round to entertain, barbequing and catching up on the sofa. We have a view of the Pacific, lovely sea breeze, and walkable street; so we love chatting with our friends and neighbors as they stroll down the footpath. It’s a quiet but communal neighborhood, we all live very close to each other at the beach.
