I am a nature-loving social worker currently staying home with my youngest son. I belong outside: gardening, walking, exploring new parks, always learning more about Texas flora and fauna. However, I spend most of my time keeping up with laundry and making sure everyone is fed. We chose to live in an urban townhouse in a walkable neighborhood to create a lifestyle that is more eco-friendly. Small urban lots mean small yards. So, our space has to be very multifunctional. It currently serves as a second living room where the kids can come outside and read, my husband and I can have drinks in the evening or coffee in the morning, and where we can gather and talk to our neighbors passing by.
