We have a backyard deck with Outer furniture, a grill, and potted plants and herbs, as well as an edible garden in raised beds, and a basketball court. It’s such a fun space to gather with family and friends. We are surrounded by nature — it’s great to watch the red-shouldered hawks fly overhead. And we can grill, eat outside, just chill, and listen to music on the outdoor speakers.

John is a recovering corporate consultant who changed careers to become a personal chef. John loves cooking (obviously), golf, and watching European soccer. His wife, Johanna, is the Chief Revenue Officer of a national nonprofit media organization at the intersection of women, politics, and policy. Johanna loves hiking in the woods, yoga, and meditating. Our daughter loves graphic design, art, and indoor rock climbing, and our son loves soccer and Minecraft.
