Our patio has a covered area as well as an overflow area that is not covered. The space offers great shade from the afternoon sun as well as retractable screens to keep the bugs out in the evening. We're lucky that our property is partly wooded— we're able to enjoy the private setting to chill with coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. The best part? Listening to the frogs, crickets, owls, coyotes and other wildlife that hang out in the woods.

I am the co-owner of a market research firm and that's what keeps me busy during the day. However, I do find time to step outside and enjoy my favorite hobby: bird watching.
