A Gorgeous Covered Deck in Rural Boulder

I’m the founder of Infant Aquatics, a network of survival swim instructors for babies and young kids. My husband, Norman, and I built our home in rural Boulder County 30 years ago. In 2019, we began a major remodel project including a covered deck, followed by a massive landscaping effort which will be complete in 2021. Our deck faces the beautiful Boulder Flatirons, and is surrounded by dozens of evergreens, shrubs, and deciduous trees. We have a fire pit, outdoor TV, quartzite dining table and bar, Wicker 3-Piece Sofa, Loveseat, 2 Armless Chairs and electric heaters so we can enjoy the deck year-round.
