First and foremost, I'm a husband and father to two growing boys, which keeps me very busy! Professionally, I'm a geoscientist and dabble in business development. I'm an avid cyclist. I also play golf and tennis, coach baseball, and spend a lot of time on a rowing machine. I'm also a master woodworker and build heirloom-quality furniture. Our spacious patio, covered by a motorized pergola, is designed to be an all-season outdoor family room, and we use it like one! We dine al fresco, socialize with friends and family, or simply escape to relax outdoors. The motorized pergola protects everything from the sun and rain, and the legs of its frame gives the space some faux walls on two sides. I can control how much light to let in, and three large fans move enough air to keep it comfortable, regardless of how hot it might be outside. A large fountain creates some ambiance. Look up, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by huge trees filled with birds and squirrels. We can just sit and watch nature in action until we fall asleep in complete tranquility.
