Two Healthcare Workers' Blooming Mid-Century Deck

We built an outdoor deck that’s an extension of our home style — a 1960s mid-century style house in town. The deck border is a wall filled with planter boxes and poles for hanging baskets, filled with vibrant, colorful fresh floral arrangements. We have a grill, smoker, dining table, and chairs, a fire pit, and of course, our new Outer. Strings of Edison bulbs provide ambient lighting. We love our outdoor space and love spending time with friends and family out there — especially in the summer and fall when flowers are in bloom. I think the one who enjoys our outdoor space the most, however, is our puppy, Maple. She is very happy to have us in "her" space more frequently and is often bringing us her favorite toys and frisbees to toss for her.
