A Faraway Safari Recreated in Lake Forest, IL

We wanted to transform our space into an outdoor paradise which would stimulate that "feeling and sense of being on holiday" in our own backyard. We have incorporated elements of Africa and Asia into the design in order to create a look and feel that would remind of us of the 12 years that we lived in southeast Asia and east Africa, much of which was spent enjoying the outdoors. Our goal was to develop a peaceful and tranquil outdoor living area that would drum up that unique spirit and feeling of being in a premium African safari camp enjoying nature, fresh air, friends, and fine dining. Our backyard patio and terrace features our Brown Wicker Sofa and Armchairs.
