A Sensory Experience on a Bluestone Patio Overlooking Casco Bay

I am a psychotherapist with a private practice in Brunswick, Maine. I live on the water and love being on any type of boat — motor, sail, or kayak. I like entertaining, love good food, good wine, and a fun time with friends and family. We had a bluestone patio built last fall overlooking Casco Bay. We designed a small garden around it, and dispersed creeping thyme between the stones for a constant, lovely scent. We wanted a designated outdoor space to entertain, hang out, relax and enjoy the bay views. The furniture has created a cozy, comfortable and elegant area filled with flowers, lanterns, and a gas fireplace. It is a special place that soothes all five senses!
