Backyard Oasis Near Downtown Denver
I love the active, outdoor Colorado lifestyle: skiing, hiking, biking, concerts at Red Rocks, music festivals, sunsets at the lake down the street, and exploring the mountain towns! I meditate every day, on my Outer sofa of course. I’m a yogi and am always reading and learning something new. I’m curious about the world and am always planning my next adventure. I have two Outer sofas in my brand-new, modern, three-story townhome located just a few miles from Downtown Denver. One sofa sits in my back courtyard and the other lives on my third-floor covered balcony. Originally, I planned to get one sofa for the balcony, but I set it up downstairs on the backyard patio to see if I would use it there. My outdoor space flows into my indoor space, and I loved looking out my sliding glass doors and seeing the beautiful organic wicker. The sofa complemented my indoor decor perfectly. I loved the look and feel it brought to my home. I found myself spending more and more time outside because the sofa is so cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and super relaxing. It just makes me super happy! Now it’s the perfect place to have my morning tea, do my meditation, journal, read and chat on the phone, or hang with friends. It has transformed my backyard courtyard into my sacred oasis!

A Cozy Rooftop in Denver
Our rooftop was made much cozier by the addition of our Outer furniture. We have a Wicker 3-Seat Sofa, Armchair, and Armless Chair.

A Modern Backyard Deck in Denver, CO
Our family loves evenings by the fire pit watching movies, playing games, and relaxing on the Aluminum 3-Seat Sofa + Armchairs. The space is modern with overhead lights and extends up onto our custom deck and grass yard. We eat meals on the adjacent deck nine months out of the year. For now, the kids enjoy racing around the fire pit area chasing each other and playing on the lawn.

A Small Backyard with Maximum Fun in Denver, CO
Our backyard patio consists of a covered upper patio, TV area, a dining area, outdoor kitchen, fire pit seating area (with our Charcoal Aluminum Sectional), trampoline, and pool/hot tub combo. We live in a neighborhood of small backyards, but we managed to cram the maximum amount of fun into a small space. I often come home to find neighbor kids jumping on the trampoline with parents hanging out. We love to host potluck dinners, outdoor movies, and pool parties. Our backyard feels like an oasis in the city and is the perfect place to soak up the sun, cool down in the pool or stay warm at the fire pit while looking at the stars. We are fortunate.

A Dog- and Human-Friendly Backyard in Colorado
My number one criteria when designing my outdoor space was comfort. I love sitting out back drinking wine with friends for hours by the fire pit, so I wanted a space that we could comfortably do that. I have a big backyard, so everyone brings their dogs over to run around while we enjoy each other's company.

Cozy Backyard Patio with Pergola in Denver
I’m a mom, wife, and also an active endurance athlete and cyclist. Obviously, I love being outdoors! Our small backyard patio is the perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends. We have a pergola for shade, and our new Wicker 6-Seat L Sectional makes it even more stylish and comfortable.

Ample Space for Entertaining in Englewood, CO
We have a large backyard entertaining space with an outdoor kitchen, pergola, fire pit, and hot tub. Plus space for the pups. Colorado weather is hard to beat so we often leave our sliding door open which allows us to expand our living space significantly. Since working from home, we love to get outside to change up our scenery and get some sun. Nothing beats a night outside where Ryan works on his hibachi skills on the grill and we hang around the fire pit with a cold beverage while our latest show plays on the TV.

Dining Al Fresco in Denver, Colorado
The outdoor space is our oasis and a place to entertain. My husband, John, and I are busy professionals but always take the time to relax by cooking a fun gourmet meal and pairing it with a nice glass of wine or cocktail. We recently installed an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and hot tub to really make it an all-year-round place to sit, talk, and relax. Our backyard also includes our Aluminum Loveseat, Armchairs, outdoor speakers to listen to all our favorite tunes, and smart LED lights that change colors to match the mood. It's not just for adults though. There is plenty of space for kids to venture out and explore the pine cones or rocks or kick the ball around.

Backyard Escape in Centennial, CO
I am a registered dietitian, but I’m currently not practicing in order to better manage the lives of my three active daughters. We love to travel all over the world as a family and have seen some amazing places. I love serving in my local church community, hiking, spin classes, improving my home, and cheering on my daughters in their many activities. When we’re home, our backyard is our oasis. We spend a lot of time out there—relaxing, reading, playing cornhole, and having family meals as often as the weather allows! It isn’t a huge space, but it’s perfect for our family of five and any gathering we’ve hosted. So far, we’ve hosted Thanksgiving dinners, Easter egg hunts, cornhole tournaments, snowmen contests, birthday parties, ladies' nights, and countless other casual get-togethers in our backyard. Recently, we added a fire pit, so that we can get cozy on our Outer sofa on cool Colorado nights. Also, we converted a previously wasted space into a conversation area with two hanging chairs—now it’s the coveted spot! My daughters are currently doing three virtual school days at home, because of this strange COVID-19 world we’re in, and those chairs are often occupied for studying or Zoom calls. We can’t do the traveling we normally like to do, so our backyard has become even more of an escape that we all crave.
